eRoutePad

The Aquis eRoutePad software is probably the easiest to use of all the available offerings on the market. It contains many features that are entirely unique to a Bottled Water Cooler company. From the screens below you can see just how friendly the user interface is - requiring never more than a touch of an icon with your finger or pen.

Stock Control
Coolers can be scanned on to the truck in the morning and dirty coolers scanned off in the afternoon. These dirty coolers will pass automatically to a "dirty cooler" location in the eRoutePad preventing them from being "accidentally" redelivered. Delivering a cooler to a site couldn't be easier. The driver either inserts the serial number of the cooler that he has delivered into the eRoutePad or, if using the model with a built in scanner, he simply scans the serial number of the cooler. Either way the cooler's movement is automatically registered against the account. Coolers already at the customer site can also be displayed, and if the driver is collecting one, he simply selects or scans the serial number of the cooler that he is collecting into the eRoutePad. And to help bottle tracking, as the driver confirms a customer delivery he is shown how many bottles should be on that site.

Customer Receipt
The scheduled drops on the route for the day with the amount of water and cups etc to be delivered, are downloaded into the eRoutePad for confirmation by the driver.

No more confirming delivery notes back in the office. When downloaded at the end of the day, your system is automatically updated with the day's activities including customer signatures and even notes made by the driver during the day.

This is a direct saving easy to quantify in your cost justification. The driver confirms the products delivered and collected, including additional products, from a look-up list. The customer then signs for the delivery on the screen and a delivery confirmation can then be printed either using a belt printer or the infra-red port of any laser printer that has one.

Sales and Marketing
The driver can enter information about the site which can then be passed back to the marketing department, i.e. "This customer has 100 employees and only one cooler". Within the Aquis eServer back office system, you can automatically reward the driver for sales resulting from this information. All the information regarding the customer is there to hand - ad hoc and repeat delivery instructions for the driver, the contract details - such as when it started and what the rental prices are - thus allowing the driver to answer many questions he might not have been able to answer in the past. These features can transform your drivers into more successful route sales staff.

Customer service
All the scheduled and ad hoc drops, together with corresponding products and quantities, for the route for the day are downloaded from the Aquis eServer back office system onto the eRoutepad.

The driver can re-sequence the route if necessary, add new customers when required and this information will be updated in the office routing records with the new sequence for the next time the route is down-loaded.

If a customer queries a delivery, you can fax straight from the Aquis eServer back office system a proof of delivery complete with signature. If the driver skips a drop he selects a reason from a look-up list which will update the customer's despatch history in the back office delivery records. If his truck breaks down, or he can't finish the route for any other reason, all customers not delivered that day will automatically have their despatch history updated with this same reason and the drop will be reallocated to a route for the following day.
