The core eServer system was developed over a period of ten
years and successfully installed in a number of industries. Its evolution has
relied heavily on the feedback of customers which ensures that the system has
developed in the most useful and user friendly way.
The Water System,
the 'front-end' that is placed on top of the standard accounts, marketing and
stock systems, was initially developed in association with a bottled water
cooler company. The software has been developed on the back of an extremely
fast and powerful database engine providing the same level of performance for
100 users as for five. Customers have formed a 'User’s Group' which meets
with Aquis on a regular basis to discuss improvements. This, and the size of
the installed base ensures that the system continues to evolve in harmony with
the industry's needs. A new release of the software is distributed every year
as part of the support contract.
The eServer is a genuinely
multi-lingual application and is currently in active use in several European
languages. Language translation is a built in facility and both accounting and
tax rules are configurable to cope with any national
idiosyncrasies.
